Core Responsibilities
• Strong leadership of complex material projects
• Powerful partner engagement and management, i.e. with globally impacted areas and resource owners
• Drive clear and well founded decision making, i.e. when making tradeoffs with a potential end-to-end impact
• Lead and empower a multi-functional team of specialists to innovate the best solutions (Materials, processes, equipment, procurement, element design, quality and more)
• Manage time, risk, quality, resources and cost of the project and its deliverables
• Clear communication of progress and alignment of requirements with governance and senior management
• Create structure and overview of multiple simultaneous projects and activities, and ensure clear processes and frames for execution

In this senior project manager role you will be a part of the Material Platform Department responsible for polymers, colours, and inks. The aim of the department is to maintain a safe, high quality and sustainable material platform for the LEGO® products to enable business needs and empower the organisation to use materials to its full potential.

Do you have what it takes?
The ideal candidate has preferably a degree in Polymers, Materials, Chemistry or Process engineering or alternatively a background within production/manufacturing or similar engineering industries. In addition, we expect that you have:
• 5-7 years of project management or people leader experience
• Profound project manager experience preferably within polymer materials in development projects
• Understanding of polymer materials, injection moulding and decoration
• Experience within agile project management
• Strong transformational leadership and stakeholder management experience along with the ability to create an impact in a diverse context across many different functional areas
• Solid end-to-end understanding of the core processes of the LEGO Group or other large industry and of implications of changes
As a person, you bring excellent communication skills and customer oriented ability to target communication to our partners. You show strong competences in problem solving and critical thinking to establish optimal solutions end-to-end. You have a strategic attitude but at the same time you are also:
• 5-7 years of project management or people leader experience
• Profound project manager experience preferably within polymer materials in development projects
• Understanding of polymer materials, injection moulding and decoration
• Experience within agile project management
• Strong transformational leadership and stakeholder management experience along with the ability to create an impact in a diverse context across many different functional areas
